kate's music | ||||
Kate's broad musical skills and variety in styles has given her the opportunity to develop her solo material on three levels for the last years. At the moment she has three albums on the go which will all be out within a short space of time. Her solo projects at the moment are her yet "Untitled album" with whom she is looking for a home for, her acoustic album "Embla" which Kate recorded in May with the harpist Rhodri Davies, vibraphonist Orphy Robinson and longterm Lamb bassist John Thorne.. And there is her dramatic, beautiful and euphoric album "Melankton" which she is currently working on with a range of top programmers and string arrangers. Melankton is being recorded in London, Oslo, Bratislava, Reykjavik and LA. Here is are some mp3 samples of the three Kate Havnevik solo projects:
